Telepresence for remote collaboration with a gestural interface

Patented

This new teleconference process allows you to see the presenter and a separate slide presentation on the same screen rather than on two separate screens. You see the presenter in the background and the slide content is seen in the foreground superimposed over the presenter. When the presenter moves his or her arm to the left, a new slide of text moves across the screen to the left, over the presenter, pushing the old text off the screen. Viewers can also see facial expressions and hand gestures. The system works at multiple locations.
