Location-based method to specify radio frequency spectrum rights

Patented

This patent covers methods and computer program products for articulating how radio frequency (RF) spectrum is consumed. Location-based rights are generated for each component in a RF system. This includes a definition of all locations at which each component might possibly operate, and a specified time period of their operational use. Other rights are included for the transmitter and receiver, and their propagation maps that describe the rate of signal attenuation away from transmitters and toward receivers.
