Cost simulation model
Investment Value Management Framework
The Investment Value Management Framework (IVMF) is a cost simulation model used to calculate estimates of return on investment (ROI) for dynamic program decisions throughout the lifecycle of a program. While other cost simulation tools exist, the IVMF presents a technological improvement over other existing software by integrating a more effective means to represent cost correlation; allowing users to dynamically compare output from multiple courses of action; allowing users to dynamically explore different budgeting profiles for different risk tolerances; and allowing users to dynamically integrate and compare cost projections with observed historical/real costs over the lifecycle of the program. Using this data, with the provided technological improvements over existing software, the IVMF allows a user to improve complex system program outcomes based on the investment decisions they make.
