MITRE's Augmented Reality Guidance System (ARGS) offers real-time safety intervention.

Augmented Reality Guidance System (ARGS)
The MITRE-developed Augmented Reality Guidance System (ARGS) uses state-of-the-art machine learning computer vision technology to provide real-time and after-action feedback to mitigate risk and improve performance.
Initially developed for military mortar training, ARGS determines the use of protective equipment by service members, the locations of individuals relative to weapon systems, and the use of weapon systems. It provides augmented reality, nonpunitive, real-time and after-action feedback to guide service members' actions to mitigate risks and improve training effectiveness. Experimentation has demonstrated high accuracy and low false positives.
The system has broad application with potential for real-time safety intervention in medical, manufacturing, education, and crowd management environments. Through the real-time feedback that the system provides, the system can mitigate risk and improve efficiency and performance.
