Munich Security Conference: Innovation

At the 2024 Munich Security Conference, Keoki Jackson, senior vice president and general manager, MITRE National Security, shared his insights on the role of partnerships in protecting the rules-based international order around the world. He joined NATO Assistant Secretary General for Innovation, Hybrid and Cyber, David van Weel, to discuss shared opportunities, challenges, and best practices to accelerate innovation.

In a panel moderated by Jeanne Meserve, former correspondent and anchor at CNN and ABC News, Jackson noted, “This is about partnerships which will eventually bring us to that world order that is based on democratic values, that is a rules-based international order.”

The Munich Security Conference, in partnership with the Cyber Innovation Hub of the Federal Armed Forces, seeks to provide a platform for the debate of best practices and lessons learned. Some of the most forward-thinking minds from the defense and innovation sectors speak at the conference’s Innovation Night.
