cutting through a chorus of voices, identifying
workable ideas, and turning them into actionable policies.
The mission of Mitre's Center for Data-Driven Policy
is to expand the role of evidence-based research
and information in the development of policy.
We are nonpartisan, we don't take political positions.
We draw on Mitre's deep technical expertise
and systems thinking capabilities,
and from Mitre's own labs and independent research programs.
Through public/private partnerships,
and federally funded R&D centers,
Mitre tackles challenges to the safety,
stability, and well-being of our nation.
The Center for Data-Driven Policy
translates those insights to the policy domain,
providing experience-based recommendations
to support outcome-based, equitable,
and measurable policy solutions.
We partner with government, industry,
universities, think tanks, and nonprofits,
addressing problems like protecting the integrity
of our elections, fighting financial fraud
and reducing improper payments,
ensuring ethics and fairness in government use
of artificial intelligence, and sharing data
and insights on the coronavirus to inform decision makers.
