View transcript Hello, my name is Joshua Akhimiemona, a rising sophomore from Howard University, studying computer science, as well as a Cyber Futures intern for The MITRE Corporation. Coming into this program, I did not know what to expect. I was in my first year of college, just studying computer science and programming, but coming to MITRE corporation taught me and expanded my intelligence on cybersecurity. I would say my biggest takeaway from my internship experience this summer was most definitely the informational and technical speaker sessions. We learned a lot about red teaming, internet of things, and even cyber threat intelligence. In the future, I see myself specifically, future Joshua Akhimiemona, combining the knowledge I have for programming and analysis with the cyber security work done here at MITRE to make a safer world for our government and generations to come.
