(upbeat ethereal music)
October is an exciting time for cybersecurity professionals. Here at MITRE, I think it really has a special meaning.
Given the amount of cybersecurity work that we do for the US Federal Government and even beyond, it's also an opportunity to highlight a lot of the awesome work that we're doing.
MITRE started working on foundations for cybersecurity 50 years ago.
We have a long history of providing tools, at no charge, to help the broader community improve their cyber defenses.
We are working to go solve these problems of national concern, on the ground. We have an insatiable appetite for cybersecurity talent. We're constantly hiring in cybersecurity, and we need a really broad and diverse set of skills.
Many organizations don't have the resources to support complex system cyber protection plans. MITRE can serve as an expert resource and help companies be more responsive to protecting their critical infrastructure.
With all that being said, every month is Cybersecurity Awareness Month here at MITRE.
