The Role of Trust in a Successful Partnership: A Way Forward

As more space system operators explore opportunities to optimize new lower Earth orbit supply chains through artificial intelligence and blockchain solutions, they must increasingly rely on partnerships across domains and sectors. But what does a successful partnership look like, and what is the role of trust? Based on an analysis of a space traffic management case study, we explain the role of trust in a successful commercial space partnership and identify practical criteria that commercial space companies can use as they develop new types of partnerships, including multisector partnerships and public-private partnerships.
