People of Color in Tech dives deep into the MITRE RISE program, a new six-month accelerator aimed at supporting tech founders of color in developing innovative tech solutions. The program offers hands-on mentorship, access to cutting-edge resources, and a broad network of technology experts.
The inaugural cohort for 2025 will focus on health IT solutions, with applications closing on October 31, 2024. Founders like Dr. Kike Oduba M.D. of WellnessWits and Sheena Gill of CognitiveCare Americas share their positive experiences, emphasizing MITRE's unique position to provide interdisciplinary mentorship, especially in navigating healthcare regulations.
Participants will have access to labs for developing minimum viable products (MVPs), educational resources, and tools for refining technical and health domain skills.
MITRE RISE aims to empower diverse founders, driving better health outcomes, and fostering a more inclusive innovation ecosystem.
