The Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) selected MITRE as one of four winners of its Excellence in Counterintelligence Award for FY20. This achievement recognizes MITRE as among the top companies in the counterintelligence (CI) industry.
From a field of more than 10,000 contractors under consideration, senior DCSA leaders selected the award winners based on the organizations’ CI/insider threat reports. For FY20, MITRE shares the honor with Booz Allen Hamilton Inc., the Georgia Institute of Technology, and Purdue University, as announced in DCSA’s Gatekeeper Magazine.
DCSA’s Excellence in CI Award encourages highly mature and effective CI programs that enhance national security and promote uncompromised delivery of sensitive and classified services and capabilities to the Department of Defense and other U.S. government agencies. DCSA considers cleared companies that exhibit the most impressive CI capability and U.S. government cooperation to deter, detect, and disrupt the theft of sensitive or classified information and technology by foreign entities.
