MITRE was named one of Foundry’s Computerworld 2025 Best Places to Work in IT, for the seventh year in a row and 16th time since 2005. MITRE ranks 37th among large companies.
“Our Enterprise Technology team helps advance the MITRE mission with innovative, scalable, and secure IT solutions. It's an exciting time to lead our adoption of advanced technologies—like the NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD—that drive next-generation artificial intelligence capabilities for federal agencies,” said Deborah Youmans, MITRE vice president and chief information officer. “We are thrilled to be recognized by Computerworld as one of the best places to work in IT for this type of work.”
The Best Places to Work in IT list is an annual ranking by Computerworld of the top work environments for technology professionals. The list is compiled based on a questionnaire regarding company offerings in categories such as benefits; career development; diversity, equity, and inclusion; future of work; training; and retention. The rankings are reviewed and vetted by a panel of industry experts.
“This year’s focus on AI has created demand for new skills in AI, data analytics, and cloud. The good news: leading companies recognize that these opportunities for business innovation also create new opportunities for internal IT talent,” says Barbara Call, global director of content strategy at Foundry. “Our winning companies are committed to keeping their tech workforce happy and engaged—which means going beyond raises, perks, and promotions to offer opportunities for upskilling and training on cutting-edge and emerging technologies.”
