In recognition for student engagement program excellence, the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) named Chief People and Corporate Strategy Officer Kathleen Federico its Employer Recruiting Champion for 2021.
Federico’s leadership of MITRE’s student recruitment and internship programs includes expanding our outreach to new talent pools and increased focus on our Emerging Talent program, which aims to fuel innovation by bringing in new perspectives. She is also responsible for MITRE’s corporate strategy, brand, and marketing functions. Federico’s robust past leadership experience—from leading an HR team to running a $400M P&L to her executive role at MITRE—gives her an integrated view into how recruitment programs help achieve business impact.
This award, given to a CEO, president or chief human resources officer, recognizes significant commitment to recruiting, hiring, and cultivating college talent. NACE is an association dedicated to supporting talent acquisition and higher education professionals and includes more than 13,000 members.
