WashingtonExec named Dr. Jay Schnitzer, MITRE chief medical and technology officer, its 2020 Healthcare Industry Executive of the Year.
Schnitzer was nominated for his work with the COVID-19 Health Care Coalition, the independent Coronavirus Commission for Safety and Quality in Nursing Homes and his role leading MITRE’s response to COVID-19.
The Pinnacle Awards recognize executives fostering innovation for the federal government. Schnitzer was nominated for his work addressing the COVID-19 pandemic.
