Sara Alert™, a symptom tracking and reporting tool developed by MITRE last year, was named one of ACT-IAC’s Innovation Award Winners, the organization announced.
MITRE began development of Sara Alert just weeks before COVID-19 pandemic took hold, and quickly adapted the tool for the rapidly emerging crisis. Sara Alert is now a symptom reporting tool that is now in use by more than 775 state, tribal, local, and territorial jurisdictions serving over 50 million people.
Sara Alert was one of 13 winners, out of more than 150 nominations.
