Homeland Security Stakeholders

Overview

The federal homeland security effort is focused on supporting stakeholders on the front lines—state, local, territorial, and tribal governments. DHS and its mission partners are developing and delivering the capabilities needed to prevent, protect, respond, and recover from disasters, emergencies, and terrorist and criminal activities. The magnitude of this responsibility is clear in the broad range of public and private sector stakeholders that require protection and security.
